Last Week's Weekly Wishes:

1) Get Snapping - Yup, this was completed and photos have been uploaded to the Facebook page. I think I will also share the photos on here :)

2) Buy car tax - This was bought with minutes to spare. Good think we are no longer required to display them!

3) Film YouTube content - I actually filmed two videos, and uploaded one today! Here is the link

4) Comment on posts and videos more - I commented on a few posts and videos but not as much as I wanted. Though to be honest, I'm finding it difficult to comment on my phone. It's like the iPhone just hates commenting on posts!

5) Purchase my pass for The Photography Show in Birmingham - This hasn't been completed and if I'm honest, I have a feeling I may not be attending.

This Week's Weekly Wishes:

1) Edit video's - I actually filmed my January Favourites and I really want to get this up soon before it is too late!

2) Edit photos from recent photo shoot - this is actually my job so I really need to get this sorted!

3) Get commenting - Because I didn't really complete this goal I am carrying it over for this week :)



Only setting myself a few goals this week after a positive week, despite it being a quiet one :)

1) Write out an invoice - This didn't happen, again. BUT, I have been asked to go an take some more photos so I will incorporate the two invoices into one! 

2) Drink more water - This hasn't been easy at all. I really wanted to get a water bottle that I could keep on my desk,  I have yet to buy one. 

3) Write some new blog content - Yes, this has been accomplished. :)

4) Have a bath - Err no, but I have showered haha. Soon I will use up the LUSH products that are accumulating in my room!

This Week's Weekly Wishes: 

1) Get snapping! - I joined a photography group on Facebook and we were set the challenge of taking photos that resemble what home means to us. I need to upload 4 by this week :)

2) Buy car tax - not exactly a fun goal but it needs doing. Can anyone beat £99 for 6 months?!

3) Film YouTube content - Well, I got the posts up on my blog. Lets try my YouTube channel shall we?

4) Comment on posts and videos more - This is something I use to do, a lot. :)

Howdy!

I took a week out of blogging due to personal problems.
This included feeling sorry for myself, for no apparent reason. Which, thinking about it now, may just be the 'carried over' meltdown from NYE..

ANYWHOOO!

It is time to update myself on the goals I have achieved this week.
Recently I have been enjoying writing this series as it not only gets me involved in the blogging community, but sometimes I even surprise myself when I look on the blog and realise that I had set myself those tasks. Some of which, I had forgotten I had set! aha!

This week has been okay in terms of goals I think...

Last Week's Weekly Wishes:

1) Pick up my camera - Well, my mum actually picked it up for me. Same thing, right? I am so happy to have it back. I was given a 64GB memory card for Christmas and part of my Christmas present was to buy a new lens. Just currently looking at the different ranges. Do you have any recommendations? Comment below :)

2) Write out an invoice - This should of been a priority and actually hasn't been done.. at all. Well, I started putting it together..

3) De-clutter my wardrobe - I started.. chucked out a few things.. but honestly, it's not good enough. What I have noticed is that I have FAR too many jumpers..

4) Purchase the Zoeva Brush Set - Yes, this is a goal from the previous week. But I can confirm that I have a set of brushes in my paws.. and I LOVE THEM!


This Week's Weekly Wishes:

1) Write out an invoice - This definitely needs to happen.. like NOW!

2) Drink more water - Seems silly, but I set myself the challenge of drinking 3litres of water a day and honestly. I am failing!

3) Write some new blog content - I have so many ideas, I just need to get them up!

4) Have a bath - What an odd goal, I know, but I do shower all the time. The family bathroom is used by my brother.. need I say more! He is currently away for the week, and I want to take full advantage and have a bath with one of my LUSH products :)


Hopefully, I will complete this... they seem so simple!

After last week's failure; I can happily say this week was far far better.

Last Week's Weekly Wishes:

1) Purchase the Zoeva Brush Set - Right, ok you got me. I didn't purchase it. Surely there is a local supplier for these brushes rather than Germany?! Let me know in the comments below.

2) Blog Post Writing - I did it! I was so organised for the week!

3) Say goodbye to 2014 - I did go out to a local village party, which had a 'fun' turnout. I had a bit of a meltdown.. in the car.

1) Pick up my camera - This may sound silly, but you have no idea how happy I am my camera is back from the repair shop! Just need to pick it up :)

2)Write out an invoice - I need to type up an invoice for the last photoshoot I did! Eek, my first one as well!

3) De-clutter my wardrobe - Since my meltdown, I promised myself I would declutter my wardrobe from all the clothes I don't wear etc.


So excited for this week's goals, and I know I will complete them!

1) Schedule some Blog Posts - Well.. I planned one post after I wrote the last Weekly Wishes post. So that is kinda completed.. no?

2) Go Out! - This one did not happen what so ever! I was invited out for drinks on Christmas Eve, but turned them down as I was still wrapping up presents! Since then I have arranged to meet a few people, so hopefully I will get out haha!

1) Possibly.. purchase the Zoeva Brush Set - I know this isn't exactly a goal.. but I really need some new brushes and, well, they are so so pretty!

It's that time of the week again, were I set myself goals to remind myself on what I need to get done!

Last Week's Weekly Wishes:

1) Buy few more gifts for Christmas - Done! My last gift arrived last Wednesday and they are all wrapped and waiting under the tree! :)

2) Send off some gifts - You can see the gift I sent off to Lola over here!

3) Pack for a weekend away in Southampton - Well, it wasn't a weekend away (no idea why I wrote that!) I was there for the night, and obviously this goal was completed!

Whoo so that's three goals all complete, now onto this weeks!

This Week's Weekly Wishes:

1) Schedule some Blog posts - I read somewhere that some bloggers prefer having a stint of writing and scheduling than writing every night! Is this something you do? I may just give this a go, but in the past I have had trouble scheduling posts and found that they have never gone up! :(

2) Go Out! - This may seem like a silly goal, but I have my reasons. While I was working in Hospitality, I would work during the sociable hours and never have time to go out and enjoy myself. Also my anxiety has played a huge part of this.
I have two full weeks off work, during the Christmas period, and I want to meet up with some old friends :)


I think I will stick to two wishes this week, I want to enjoy all the Christmas celebrations, as again this is the second Christmas I've not worked! (First time I booked it off work, and came down with a case of flu! :( )

That's right, I'm starting again.

Every Monday night I have found myself chilling in front of the T.V. But not tonight, I've motivated myself to actually write a post. Well I lie, I wrote this last night.. but whose going to blab ;)

Because I am starting all over again, it means I have no goals from last week to praise myself for completing. Damn it!

This Week's Weekly Wishes;

That's a bit of a tongue twister..

1) Buy the few more gifts I have left to buy for Christmas - this goal I have to be careful on, I do all my Christmas shopping online. I can not stand any of the crowds, being stuffy in a shop does not do it for me. Sitting on the sofa with a cup of tea and shopping all done by the click of a mouse, is FAR more appealing!

2) Send off some gifts! - I took part in WhatSheDid's #vloggerssecretsanta. I was meant to send it on Friday but a lot happened on that day and I didn't get round to sending it off. Plus I felt so bad with what I had bought, I may of purchased something extra. So I'm currently waiting for that to arrive.

3) Pack for a weekend away in Southampton - This goal looks more luxurious than it actually is! I'm only going there for a photoshoot at a hotel. This is part of my love of starting my own part-time photography business. I know there is no such thing as a 'part-time' photographer.. but i'll make it happen ;)

Well that is all I'm setting for myself, anymore and I feel I won't get them done haha!

Complete my latest paper - All done! I finished it last night and will be handing it in sometime this week. I now get to focus on my big dissertation paper!

Think of ideas for my Blog's birthday! - Ok, so I didn't manage to complete this one, but I did think long and hard. Since I am in the process of finishing my degree, I honestly have no time to think of a giveaway prize. :( I will be doing something later on in the year, but for the time being I will be saying a MASSIVE thank you :)

This week's Weekly Wish:

Just like last week, they are going to be boring!

• Keep working on my Dissertation paper.

Hello everyone!

After much thought about how I could get back to writing on my Blog, I took a trip back through the archives and found out that it was The Nectar Collective's Weekly Wishes Link up that really motivated me each week!
Now my last one was back in January.. yeah, let's not dwell on that one!

I was going to start a fresh, but decided to carry on. However, I am not going to reflect back on my previous Weekly Wish.

This week's Weekly Wish:

This week is going to consist of mainly working on some papers, you probabaly are getting fed up of me talking about all my Uni work. But this has taken over my life, and I promise will end in May! :) I really want to get my latest paper finished this week. Deadline is next Friday, but I know I will benefit better if I get it over and done with. :)

Another wish of mine is to also get a video edited and uploaded to YouTube. If you haven't already, go and watch the 90s Tag video I did couple of weeks ago. Because it was so long and funny to record, I want to make a Bloopers video :)

Finally, it is also not just mine, but my Blog's birthday! I will be 23 (20th April) and the blog will be 1 (23rd April!)! Can you believe it! I'm hoping to do something special for the occasion and to say thank you to everyone! :) I already have one thing lined up, which is pretty exciting. :)

I reckon I'm not the only one who didn't do Weekly Wishes over the Christmas period... am I right? Okay, you may of blogged more over December than myself, but who's checking eh? ;)

I also think it's quite spooky, and no I did not plan this, that this is my 14th wish AND it's 2014. HA! Brilliant :)
This week's theme is 2014, unfortunately I have no photo's of New Years, as I was working at a function. Boo! But it was great fun, best fun in years I reckon. Anyway I have no photo's, so this week is just a photo of some sparklers. I love sparklers, so... sparkley! :)

So what last week's Weekly Wish? (Actually last year's) Get into the Christmas Spirit.
Well this well an truly happened, however my immune system had other plans  :( All my shopping was done, and wrapping done two weeks before the big day. Parcels were sent to America and cards were delivered to friends. We had family coming up and I had the day off work :) Then all of a sudden I was hit by the flu bug that is going round and was in bed for 5 days :( I managed to get up for Christmas Day but was forced to go back to bed on Boxing Day. Though I did get into the spirit and enjoyed my time. The presents I received were amazing and I don't think I could ever thank my parents enough for them. :) How was your Christmas guys?

What is this week's Weekly Wish? Get things ready for a new term and Staff Party!
After two week's off I'm back to lectures. Back to the weekly grind of getting up early, taking notes and panicking and stressing over assignments! But alas! I have a lovely Sunday to look forward to, it is our work Christmas Staff Party! A night full of drink, dance and Karaoke and to make it even better.. it's fancy dress!
After much thinking, I'm going as... nahhh you'll have to wait and see next week!
I'm not a huge fan on dressing up, but I'm strangely looking forward to this one and pics will be going up :)

This week the theme for the photo's are 'Animals.' Just like any other animal lover, I really am going to struggle as I love animals so much and we own 6 types of animals. If you follow me, you've already met Bramble (the hamster) So I thought I would introduce Thomas the horse. :) This was taken last year when I was riding him back to our house from a field we rent in the fens. He is 30 years old would you believe! But still a young horse at heart and can escape from his field when he feels like it. He is part of the family as we've had him for well over 14 years!

So what was last week's Weekly Wish? Improve my blog design.

Okay, so as you can see it is not completed, but I have been researching around and have been in touch with a few blog designers. :) Unfortunately, their schedules are just as busy as mine and won't be able to do anything until February. But that is fine, I can wait until then. Hopefully by then, by blogging would of really taken off. I may just schedule the new blog design in time for my 1 year blog anniversary ;) Does anyone celebrate these? aha!

What is this week's Weekly Wish? Get into the Christmas Spirit.

Slightly cheating on this one as I took to the sales over the weekend and last night to buy my Christmas shopping on-line. I normally go shopping, but I really have no time at all! Just like I really have no time to blog... aha! Most of it is done and delivery should be starting tomorrow, can not wait. In the mean time, I will be writing Christmas cards, not something I do, but I found some in my drawer of my desk, and really should use them!

This week the theme for the photo's are 'New Beginnings.' I thought long and hard about this one and you know what? I have no photo.. except if I took a picture of me blogging.. I'm having a brain freeze just trying to imagine how I would do that. But seriously, as soon as I started Blogging back in April I had no idea what doors would open for me. Yes I would love to have 10,000 followers, but right now I'm happy with the number I have. I've met some brilliant people on the way and plan to meet many many more. So thank you for reading, following, re-tweeting etc. :)
I love blogging, and it really has been a New Beginning of my life :)

Ok so it was actually the end of October that I set myself that task... HA!
But I actually de-plugged myself from blogging, and focused on my assignments. I handed it on time and my presentation went really really well. We get our grades in 2 weeks now, so massive fingers crossed for a good grade :) But I have just started blogging again, especially about my recent trip to London which you can read the first part here and second part here. - Enjoy!
I did start knitting.. did, because I then noticed I had a thousand holes in it! Yes, you can stop giggling because your meant to have holes in it, but I mean like dropped-a-stitch hole.. So I gave up and when I get a chance I will start all over again, despite doing about 17 rows... *sob*

What is this week's Weekly Wish? Improve my blog design.
I really, really need your help on this one. If you've been reading my blog for a while now, you may of noticed a few design changes. I think at one point I had my name in huge letters which took up all of my screen..hehe.
Anyway, safe to say I well and truly suck at blog designing. Like majorly!
All I want it a lovely, simple blog design... WHY CAN I NOT ACHIEVE THIS!
Why does blog design need to be so difficult!?!? It probably isn't and I'm just being a HUGE drama queen about it!
Can you help me? Please? Pretty please with a cherry on top? I will start batting my eyelids. :):)
I've searched on all the free blog design websites, but I would love something different.. :D

Well safe to say I enjoyed my week off. I got some work done for Uni , but not as much as I was hoping. First deadline is in two weeks time!

This week, the theme for the photos is Creativity. Above is a photo of when I was (and still am) learning how to use the sewing machine. 

I'm a bit slow, but getting the hang of it. Plus it's my Grandma's machine and outlived all of the modern machines!!

Ok, so it's not last week's wish, but I lost all motivation last week to do anything.. at all!

This needs to change! Though I would just like to highlight, that I'm doing this post and link up ON A MONDAY! Ahhhh I normally do it Tuesday morning.. the shock!!

 I have started my assignments, and with it being reading week this week, I am aiming to get the 1000 word report, along with it's presentation out of my hair!

I still have not washed the car as we have had Noah build his ark! Not literally. It just hasn't stopped raining.. blooming England weather!!

So with regards to the meeting, lets say I didn't accomplish this wish. It wasn't that kind of meeting, in the fact it was a change of management, and certain rules and words were being said. Since then, work has been absolutely fine. :)

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the Bastille tickets BOO HOO! :( They were sold out. *sob* However, I had a lovely evening catching up with N :) Even though we watched Tv and got a take out, it was nice to just sit and chat about things face to face :)

As I've mentioned above, I have a whole week off. So I'm going to enjoy my time off while I focus on getting my work done for uni. Even though its raining cats and dogs, with the occasional hamster. It still won't put me off doing stuff. Tonight (and i will post about this!) I am going to a stately home in our town along with some friends, for a Spooky Tour! They say the later you go, the more scary ahh!!

Wow, I really am not having a good week in the blogging world! Ahh, here goes!
This weeks photo theme is 'Celebrate.'

Because I work in the Events Industry I could of picked lots of photos from parties to weddings. But that's not personal right?
So this is my picture;

This photo was taken on New Years Eve. I'm celebrating with friends I had made in 6th Form and after not seeing them for a good 4 years, it was a un-planned evening, of going out and enjoying myself. And my god did I enjoy my night. Not so in the morning but hey-ho! It was a lovely night celebrating that year with some good friends! And A LOT has changed since then!

Also, here's a cute video of Bramble.. It may look boring but totally worth the watch! Makes me laugh every time! BTW, She is completely fine after this, and feel free to share and show to your friends :)

So what was last week's Weekly Wish? Car washing. Research and Blog Posting.

 .... *ahem* well that was a complete fail! Even though I only had two shifts and work and two days at Uni. I still managed to fail on my wishes.

My car was being used by Mum as hers was in the garage, though I have a day off today, so I'm tempted to wash it when it comes back.

I did start researching slowly and actually started an assignment, so its not a complete fat fail! 

And the blog posting... It's been slow.. very slow!

But fear not!..

What is this week's Weekly Wish? Keep Calm & Carry on!

I will carry over last weeks wishes, as they all are very important and need completing. These seem to be ongoing wishes so I need another one..

To attend the work meeting and say what I want to say. I feel every meeting that we have, I never pluck up the courage to say what's on my mind. At the moment a lot has been happening that I want to express my feelings on. 

To buy Bastille gig tickets, if you know me, you'll know I love my music, and I love Bastille.

I said to my friend C that if they ever go on tour we need to see them. They obviously knew I was talking about them, as they're playing in a local venue next week!

Finally, enjoy my time catching up with my best friend N. We very rarely see each other, so it will be nice to catch up - despite texting every day. I think we all forget that there is a person behind that small screen we text on!

Well guys what a week, and I’m so glad its Monday so I can share with you!

Firstly, thanks to Melyssa for choosing my ‘innocence’ picture of Bramble, and thank you for your lovely comments about her.

She is a cute thing, just waiting for her to knaw right through her cage. Soon her whole cage will be made of duck tape!

I thought long and hard about this and the photo I've chosen is this one.

As I’m currently sat in the garden enjoying the last minutes of the sun, to me this is happiness. Just sitting here, not doing anything. Nothing to worry about..yet!
However, when I'm truely happy is when I'm listening to my favourite band, Coldplay, live. The quality of the photo is poor, but I was dancing around too much!

Wow, what a challenge I set myself this week eh? I'm very very very happy to say I've completed it. It only took me 2 and half days, but I did it! yaya!
I commented on every single blog that linked up to Melyssa's link up, and you know what? I'm glad I did!
I read blogs that I thought I would never read, and because of this I intend to follow on BlogLovin'.
The best bit about all of this was the feedback! I've never received so many email notifications in one week! It was so motivating to read what you guys put! 
The even better bit, and I am extremely excited about this! Drum roll please!...
Because of my commenting spree, I have been asked to contribute to an Events Website!!

What is this week's Weekly Wish?: Car Washing. Research and Blog Posting.
After this week's successful wish, I thought I would take it easy. I'm only working at the weekend this week, so will take the opportunity to sit back, and relax-ish! While squeezing in some important things.
My car needs a good clean - Quick Update: I brought a black Nissan Micra Convertible last month. :) 
I need to start researching for my assignments at uni. I've decided to research about the origins of weddings.. aha!
And finally get some Blog posts done, for both here and the website (When I have my first post up over there, I'll link up!)  :)

Before I babble on about my wishes for this week, I wanted to quickly explain my photo.

Recently Melyssa will set a theme for the photo's. This week is innocence.

It was only by chance this happened. Bramble, the cutest hamster that she is, has decided that her chew sticks and other chewable things I give to her are not enough, oh no! And has started to chew her cage! A £52 cage I would like to add!

My solution, along with anything, Duck Tape! When I took the photo I swear she ran over to be a part of it. Such a poser! Here she is with her 'innocent' 'wasn't me' face!

So what was last week's Weekly Wish?: Send off my parcel for Britt for Snail Mail Collective!

Done and done! In fact it was sent off yesterday. I was a bit scared, as I've been watching to many of those programmes where they send sniffer dogs and open up peoples packages.. I hope Britt's arrives in one piece, I really do! The amount of tape I used...

What is this week's Weekly Wish? Blog Commenting.

Can you remember my Weekly Wish #2? Vaguely. I said that I would comment on your posts as I wanted to get into the blogging community more and meet new people. Well I obviously completed it, this week I'm going to make it my goal to comment on each and every Weekly Wish link up for this week...

Firstly I want to say how much I love my photo for this weeks Weekly Wish. Excuse the wheelbarrow in the background - I was de-weeding the vegetable garden and found this cute guy on one of the plants. I love nature :)

So what was last week's Weekly Wish?: Start this University Year afresh and organised!

Well I did it - Ok, Ok so the Uni year lasts more than two days but so far I seem to be organised.

As soon as I got home from my lecture I curled up on the sofa and printed off a calendar from Word. I then highlighted all the important dates and to make sure that my work gets in on time, I've given myself deadlines to finish work a week early than when the actual deadline is. Confused?

Because of the hard work that is to follow - and yes I will admit I had a sign of weakness followed by tears and cries of "why am I doing this?" to the dog, who bless looked ever confused. I've decided to cut down my hours at work. Drastically.. :( 

Every Wednesday night I will get my bag and books ready so I'm not panicking in the morning. 

Ah hopefully all this hard work will pay off and I'll get the BA Hons in Events Management so excited!

I was so excited - gosh need to find a new word to describe my excitement, to join Snail Mail Collective two weeks ago!

After exchanging a few emails to Britt over at One&20, it's time to send off our parcels.

I'm hoping this week that I will have time to put it together and send it off!

Bless Britt, she has been so busy with everything that it has given me an idea behind my package to her :)

So what was last week's Weekly Wish?: Sort out endless amounts of receipts..
Well this was a huge success! Actually so successful I managed to complete it within the first two days! How about that eh!?
The comments I received where very supportive and I looked at all Apps that where suggested. In the end I opted for a simple table on my iPad which I divided into months. 
I'm absolutely amazed on how much I have spent from January already! I really need to cut down! Eek!
To keep me organised, mum found me this cute tin to store all my receipts in. I love it!

What is this week's Weekly Wish?: Start this University Year afresh and organised!
I had a lot of things I wanted to include in my Weekly Wishes, but felt that this one is more relevant. 
This Thursday (12th September) I will be enrolling on my BA Honours for Events Management. I am so excited! Every new term I promise myself the same thing, that I will be organised and file all my notes etc. Even though I kept this up in the last two years, I feel I can do more! 
I love stationary so I feel a shop to my local PaperChase is in order (so much for saving!)
